Day wise Test Program at ISSB

ISSB 5 Days Schedule : 5 days are required for testing at ISSB, in which your arrival day is also included.

First Day (Afternoon only)-Preliminaries Once candidates enter ISSB, first day starts. Its also called Arrival Day. The candidates have to go through the following steps on Arrival day:

• Reception. The security staff will check, for security and unauthorized things, like mobiles, laptops, and others. You can contact your family through land line phone inside ISSB.
• Checking of documents
• Allocation of chest numbers
• Allocation of rooms
• Photograph
• Administration staff address
• Filling bio data forms.
• Essay Writing, one topic in 30 minutes.

Second Day-Psychologist's Tasks

• Opening address by Deputy President
• Mechanical Aptitude Test : 50 Questions in 15 Minutes
• Word Association Tests : 100 words , Time : 10 seconds to see and write a sentence on each
• Thematic Apperception Tests : 4 Pictures , 1/2 minute to see and 3.5 minutes to write, for each
• Situational Reaction Test; Situations: 10 , Time : 20 minutes
• OPI Test: Number of Questions; 150, Time: 40 minutes
• Self description and self appraisal : Time: 10 minutes

Third Day-GTO Tasks and Interviews

• Group Discussion by Deputy President : Time: 40 minutes approx
• Briefing by GTO and Allotment of Chest Numbers :
• Group Planning /Military Planning :20 min, Problem explained on sketch/ screen, writing of plan/ presentation by candidates.
• Progressive Group Task (PGT): 45 Minutes
• Half Group Task (HGT):
• Interviews by Deputy President

Fourth Day-GTO Tasks and Interviews

• Individual Obstacles
• Command Task
• Sub Group Task at ISSB (Group Race): 8 Minutes
• Interviews (leftovers)

5th Day-: Conference Day
